About Us

OUR Coach

Founded by Annemarie O’Donnell, Elevate One has evolved from Annemarie’s personal passion for health and fitness. She moved from Ireland to Australia in 2013 and while working as an accountant, devoted most of her free time to exercise.  In 2019, Annemarie took a huge leap of faith and left her accounting job to coach full time.

Annemarie is intensely passionate about helping her clients achieve the best results, ensuring they avoid making the common mistakes that she has experienced herself. Her coaching style and genuine care help clients learn how to stop focusing on the scales, or punishing themselves with endless hours of cardio after a big weekend. Instead, she aims to teach clients how to train smarter, the importance of following a program (including rest days), and having a positive mindset around food.

why elevate one

The ‘E’ in Elevate One is customised to represent multiple levels, reflecting the journey clients take with us here at Elevate One. 

The top stroke of the E sits alone as a single bar, as a metaphor for ‘raising the bar’ pushing yourself further and exceeding your fitness goals. 

The customised E and O represent the coming together of client and trainer, individuals, and the group, reflecting the supportive and empowering Elevate One community. 

Elevate One also represents the journey Annemarie has taken her clients on. Originally training in the basement, the gym has now been elevated to level one in our new location.

WHAT WE DO

Elevate One is a boutique gym offering small group training sessions that are designed to build a strong healthy foundation. We offer an intimate environment for you to train in, and build confidence.  Technique is king, we focus on mastering the basics and doing it really well. Our programs are structured to ensure you are continually progressing and moving forward. We are here to create a community of like-minded people who want to raise the bar and push themselves to reach, and exceed, their goals. We teach the importance of following a program so that you can progress each week and are continually moving forward towards your goal. Our focus is on helping clients train and lift with perfect technique, as well as thinking positively and treating our bodies kindly. 

We offer a variety of different strength and conditioning training sessions, some focusing on upper body, lower body or full body work-outs. Our training programs are structured to build strength, changing every four weeks to add a new training stimulus in order to challenge your body to create the change needed for you to get great results. We also offer 1:1 personal training sessions and a nutritional program to help you learn how to fuel your body to perform at its best.
